"So you remember?" he asks.

"Remember what?" I ask, trying to keep my tone casual. He looks at me with a grin and says, "When you tried to convince me that aliens exist."

"Ok, so let's forget that."

"Man, you were such a dork," he laughs.

"Forget about that. "Why can't we just go somewhere?"

"A cafe?"

"Seriously, Diego, you'd be that boring?" i chuckle

"Where do you want us to go then?" He rolls his eyes.

"I mean, something adventurous; somewhere I can forget all the pain."

"Ok, so I know something adventurous," he smirks; oh, god, his evil smile is probably going to take me somewhere to die right now.

"Seriously, Diego? "Screw you," I say to Diego while the trainer helps me put on the safety equipment

"Oh my god, I am so excited; I haven't done this in months."

"You took me bungee jumping, and you always knew I was scared of heights." I still remember that he took me to the highest tower in the town, and I cried.

"C'mon, you wanted adventure, and this is what we got, and it was the nearest, or I'd take you to hike uphanging on cliffs "

"I prefer this to the hiking thing," I reply to him as I walk towards the edge of the ledge and gaze down the river and rocks.

"So do you trust me?" Diego asks.

"Absolutely not"

"Oh, smart guy," he smirked at me.

"Wait, what the fuc--?" I say until he pushes me, and my heart skips a beat until I scream out the curse I was about to say.

Deigo comes down after a few minutes, and he screams as he enjoyed it, and I see a yellow raft approaching us. They remove our harnesses, and we leave through the boat. My body is shaking and sweating.

"Calm down, you're alive," the lady in the boat says; she is a trainer.

"Just take a deep breath, dude," Deigo says.

"TAKE A DEEP BREATH? I FEEL LIKE MY LUNGS ARE TWISTED." I yell at him

We come out and are back in our town, and I want to kill Diego.

"You brought us here to die?" I say

"C'mon, little baby, it was fun," he mimics like a mom.

"I really can't figure out if you are being sarcastic or not," I say

"Man I really don't know but I should write a book about dumb ways to die, I bet no one enjoys the way I do"

"You risk your life like you have plenty of extra lives which makes you dumb and not cool" I mean he can write a book about jokes which are not funny.

"So you forgot the pain you had?" he giggles

"You caused me more pain, you shithead," I say to him

His phone rings, and he talks like it's someone close to him.

"Who was it?" I ask.

"My girlfriend"

"Good joke," I say, burning from the inside.

"Aw, our little Nova is jealous! It was Isa Yeah, but that doesn't make up for the fact that I don't have a girlfriend, I do have one."

"Ugh, cut the girlfriend nonsense out. What did Isa say?" I ask. I am so curious; I don't know what Aurora said to her.

"Nothing's wrong; Aurora's just made up her mind to meet you," he says without looking at me and while browsing through his phone.

Oh god, Aurora.
